Nowhere to Hide on the Web

|

Does anybody find it kind of uncomfortable how anyone can find out anything about you through the internet? On the Peter Moreville clip called Googling Your House, he talks about how technology is evolving, like googling your house to fing your remote control. I think its exciting to see this progress, but at the same time doesn't the individual become more vunerable? It's nice to be able to access the internet from a phone, but that can lead to me being tracked anywhere. I guess this is the ongoing debate and dilemma for a hi-tech society. How much do we give up for the sake of "progress?" Noone will ever be satisfied on which direction we go.
