I just went to your page again and tried all the functionalities, they all work well: the ending address has a default value from Ashley's restaurant; the default zip code for starting address is 48197; and adding driving direction option on info marker. One thing that I noticed from using mapquest webservice is that if I put incorrect address (eq. Seattle, WA, 48197), it gets prioritized by the zip code value, while using googlemaps, it gets prioritized by the city/state value.
