I know everyone is in the middle of finishing this term of classes, so I hate to remind you Christmas is in another 17 days. Sorry, don't kill the messenger.

Many of us own laptop Macs or know of someone who does. Mat Lu at tuaw.com has a nice and short list of gift ideas for the mobile Mac user. Looking at this reminds me I could use an extra battery and Power Adapter -both are in Mat's list. Hope my wife looks at this blog...

It's all about the dock!

|

It funny how little things can be all the rage or not. Probably most of you remember during the beta period of Mac OX 10.5 Leopard many where complaining about the transparent menu bar. Refusing to have anything to do with it and wanted to create apps to put back the Tiger menu bar.

Well that's last weeks news! The big rage with the die hard faithful it the dock bar. Users have created hundreds of replacements for the new Leopard "shelf" dock. Now we are starting to see apps to do nothing but modify the dock. You would think people have forgotten that Apple released an entire OS and not just a new dock... Have a look at LeopardDocks.com or type Leopard and dock into Google and see what happens.

I'm not sure about these sites. How good is the code and why does it feel like cheating to me.

SEO for blogs

|

Found this interesting blog about SEO for blogs the other day. SEOBook claims to add a new chapter every day and so far it looks really interesing as a get your feet wet guide for bloggers. I have no doubt as one digs deeper and time progresses the content will too.
