Apparently a mother and daughter thought it would be a good idea to create a profile and convince the girl's classmate that they were actually a guy who was interested in her. After getting the gossip they want, the proceeded to demean her and harass her. At which point she finally decided to take her own life. Now after readying this, I am appalled. At what point have we stopped holding adults accountable for their actions. The mother's defense was basically "I did not mean to hurt her" and "there are no laws against what I did." PLEASE! She knew what she was doing was not right. If she would have been saying some of the same comments to the poor girl in person she would have been held accountable. And if she would have been holding a gun that accidentally went off even though "she did not mean to hurt her" she would have been held responsible.
