Engineers in Space

Some engineers from University of Missouri came up with an algorithm software program that tells the space shuttles which route is the best in space. They tested and validated that it can do this no matter how many years away or worlds away. The only thing I may have a problem with is what if it malfunctions then they are going to be lost in space.
