New Myspace features very similar to Facebook

I was reading a blog by Adena DeMonte about the new features that Myspace has added to their site. They now have a skin option called "New Home Skin." The page features the more clean-cut format that Facebook users enjoy. This prompted me to visit my own Myspace page, which I hadn't been to in about 2-3 months because I had become unhappy and bored with the site. While this new feature may draw some users who had strayed for Myspace to Facebook it wasn't enough to convert me. The new appearance just masks the same old spam problems that led me away from Myspace in the first place. I'm sticking with Facebook on this one. It just shows that no matter how slick a webpage looks, how it works is far more important in the long run.
