Open Source Apps

There is a lot of talk about open source software flying around the blog world lately. It's a great alternative to the pricey distributions productivity software that are on the market today. You can get a great word processor, spread sheet, presentation software, math function creator, and a personal database at openoffice.org. Open office works in just about all of the major operating systems.

As for linux, it is all open source. Viva la revolution, free software a plenty.
