Windows SP1 for vista and SP3 for XP coming early next year

Windows announced that new service packs were coming for both of its windows distributions in quarter one of 2008. Windows isn't exactly known as a company that releases polished software with it's first release. Many companies/users are waiting for the first service pack for Vista before they make the switch, and rightfully so. Once the release comes out you should be able to download and a DVD should also be available.

Some other notable information from this release, this will be the last service pack for XP. It looks like Microsoft is finally going to cut the ties with XP and move onto Vista full fledged.
