Open Id (yes or no)?

I'm not sure on Open Id yet? I like the concept of having one sign in for all the different accounts a person has to register for. I can't even count the number of accounts I have to sign into everyday, and sometimes it's hard to remember what my screen names are. My problem with open id is, I find the site confusing. I don't get how your supposed to register I site that you use regularly Open Id. If someone could help me with that, I would appreciate it.
